These terms govern the relationship between The Vicuña Room and its clients.
Nature of Service
The Vicuña Room provides bespoke clothing, luxury fabric sourcing, and private wardrobe direction. All services are appointment-led and conducted on a private, consultation basis.
Bespoke & Made-to-Order Garments
All garments are custom-made to your measurements and specifications. Because each piece is individually crafted, standard returns do not apply. Refinement and alterations are part of the commissioning process.
Fabric Availability & Natural Variation
Fabrics are sourced from premium mills and are subject to availability. Natural fibres may exhibit variation in colour, texture, and behaviour. These variations are inherent to the material and are not considered defects.
Measurements, Fittings & Client Responsibility
Accurate measurements and timely attendance at fittings are essential. Significant changes in body measurements during the commissioning process may affect fit and may require additional charges.
Timelines & Delivery Estimates
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary based on garment type, fabric availability, number of fittings, and mill production schedules. We communicate progress throughout the commission.
Payments, Deposits & Balances
A deposit is required to commence work and reserve fabrics. The balance is due upon completion and prior to delivery. Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of commission.
Alterations & Refinements
Fitting adjustments during the commissioning process are included. Post-delivery alterations are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
